On behalf of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Organizing Committee, it is our privilege to invite you to the 2018 Targeted Proteomics Workshop on October 22-25, 2018, in Shanghai, China! We are honored to host this event and look forward to welcoming friends and colleagues from all over the world.
Different targeted proteomics strategies have currently been developed that enable identification and quantification of specific proteins in various samples with high sensitivity and reproducibility. The workshop aims to carry out in-depth exploration of establishment and application of SRM / MRM, PRM and DIA / SWATH strategies, deepen the understanding of targeted proteomics, and better apply targeted proteomics strategies to biomarker discovery, drug research and development, and study of life science.
We have invited senior experts in proteomics, including Prof. Ruedi Aebersold, Prof. Mike MacCoss, Prof. Christina Ludwig, Prof. Ben Collins and Prof. Yansheng Liu Dr. Chuanqi Zhong, Dr. Brendan MacLean, Dr. Tujin Shi to give keynote speeches, and will provide researchers with the latest technologies and broad exchange platforms. The theme is to conduct in-depth discussions on development and utilization of SRM / MRM, PRM and DIA / SWATH upon scientists’ research cases, further deepen comprehension towards targeted proteomics, thus promoting the application of targeted proteomics to biomarker discovery, drug research and development, and molecular mechanisms elaboration.
